The Yuvabadhana Art Contest promotes children’s artistic creativity. The first contest was held in 1994. Since then, the Yuvabadhana Foundation has held the contest annually for twenty years, partnering with the Faculty of Painting Sculpture and Graphic, Silapakorn University. The contest gives the opportunity for children to develop skills outside a classroom, and demonstrate their creativity and imagination. The topic of the contest is different each year. Each topic teaches youth to have self esteem and learn to do good things and give back to society. The contest is held in the first semester of each school year.

After each contest, the Yuvabadhana Foundation selects some winning artwork to be printed into greeting cards and calendars for sale to public. Revenues from sales after expenses will be used for publishing educational books to give to students in remote area throughout the country under the Yuvabadhana Literature Program. Any organization interested in receiving books for use as outside classroom reading may contact the Yuvabadhana Foundation.
